Main Physical and Chemical characteristic
Nitrocellulose chips is small white flake, in organic solvent such as ketone, ester, alcohol ether etc, with density 1.34g/m3 and explosion point 1570℃. It is ready to combust on encountering fire, decomposed by heat and reacts with acid and alkali.

5Usage:
Nitrocellulose chips is mainly used in industry of nitrate lacquer, coating, printing, moisture-proof glass paper, etc.
6Packing:
1Nitrocellulose is packed in galvanized steel barrel (280 liters) lined with polythene film bag according to DOT-17H. Net weight is 90-120kg for per barrel. Quantity for 40 feet container is 14.4-19.2ton.
2 Nitrocellulose may also be packed in composite fiber drum lined with polythene film bag. Net weight is 50kg per drum. Quantity for 20 feet container is 11.25ton.
Notice in storage and transportation:
1Nitrocellulose chips should be stored and transported according to the state regulations of shipping and stored dangerous goods.
2The package of nitrocellulose chips should be handled carefully and avoid to i***ct with iron articles. Storage in the open air or under direct sunlight is forbidden. Transportation by truck without canvas cover must not be allowed.
